About Nikki and the Hatch Collaborative

Clarity. Commitment. Change that lasts.

I’m Nikki Kinghorn Hatch. For more than 25 years, I’ve worked with thoughtful, capable people navigating the complexity of the real world— at home, in leadership roles, and at major turning points in life.

Before coaching became my full-time work, I led and supported programs serving children, families, and communities within complex public systems. I’ve worked alongside parents under pressure, leaders carrying immense responsibility, and all kinds of people trying to make meaningful decisions to get real results in their lives.

What I learned is that most people don’t need fixing. They need clarity, support, challenge, and accountability to decide and take action.

The work I do is deeply informed by real life. Not abstract theory. Not perfection. Just practical, human tools that help them move forward with more confidence and less noise.

Today, through The Hatch Collaborative, I work with parents, executives, leaders, and individuals in transition. While the contexts may look different, the work follows the same arc:

  • Clarity — seeing what’s really happening, what’s in the way

  • Commitment — choosing a direction that is right for YOU

  • Change that lasts — taking grounded, sustainable action that works

My approach is calm, direct, and deeply human. I listen carefully — to what’s said and what isn’t — and dig deeper. I help people ask the right next question, make decisions they can stand behind, and follow through with intention.

And I do it with a sense of humor and joy.

Let’s talk about what matters most to you right now.

If you’re considering coaching and want to see whether it’s a good fit for what you’re wanting to achieve, I’d love to hear from you.

You don’t need a perfectly formed question — just a sense that something needs to change.
