Ways to Work Together
Different needs call for different kinds of support. These are the primary ways I work with individuals and couples, leaders, and organizations.
Individual & Couples Coaching
Best for:
Parents, leaders, and individuals navigating decisions, stress, communication challenges, or transitions.
One-on-one (or two-on-one) coaching offers space to slow down, get clear, and take meaningful action. We focus on what’s actually happening, what’s getting in the way, and what needs to change — with support and accountability along the way.
Coaching is practical, reflective, and grounded in real life. It’s not about fixing you. It’s about helping you move forward with confidence and intention.
How Coaching Works
Coaching is most effective when it has time and structure. For that reason, I work with clients in structured, customized coaching packages rather than single, standalone sessions.
Packages vary in:
Length and frequency
Level of support and accountability
Focus (parenting, leadership, transitions, or a blend)
Together, we design a coaching package that fits your goals, your sense of urgency, your capacity, and what you’re navigating right now. All coaching clients have access to support between sessions, too.
This approach allows for deeper clarity, steadier progress, and change that actually lasts.
If you’re curious but unsure, a Discovery Call is simply a chance to talk things through and see whether working together makes sense.
Sponsored Coaching for Organizations and Teams
Best for:
Mission-driven, outcomes-focused organizations.
In sponsored coaching, an organization invests in coaching for one or more leaders, managers, or team members. This is often used to support leadership development, burnout prevention, role transitions, or increased responsibility.
I work closely with the sponsor and the individual(s) being coached to ensure clarity and alignment of goals, and to drive towards real-world impact.
How Sponsored Coaching Works
Coaching kicks off with a joint meeting between the individual being coached, the sponsor, and the coach to discuss goals, supports, roles, and desired outcomes for the coaching. By getting on the same page upfront, coaching sessions can be targeted and deeply effective.
Together we create structured, customized coaching packages aligned to goals.
Packages vary in:
Length and frequency
Level of support and accountability
Focus (leadership, confidence, performance management, upskilling, accountability, or a blend)
If you’re curious but unsure, a Discovery Call is simply a chance to talk things through and see whether working together makes sense.
Coaching Collaboratives
Best for:
Coaches and coach-friendly therapists who want to deepen and refine their craft in a supportive peer community.
Coaching Collaboratives are facilitated cohorts for coaches and coach-friendly therapists who want to sharpen their skills, think more deeply about their work, learn new coaching tools and strategies, and contribute to a community of support.
This is not a referral or networking group where business cards get traded, although participants do grow their network and can make cross-referrals. Instead, it’s a select cohort of peers— other practicing coaches and therapists— who meet regularly to become better at their work. These are practice-focused spaces to explore real client scenarios, refine approaches, and stay grounded in the human side of the work.
How Coaching Collaboratives Work
Interested individuals first meet with Nikki to discuss their goals and learn about suitable cohorts for them. Cohorts meet (virtually) bi-weekly for 12 months. Most cohorts are made up of experienced coaches, but occasionally cohorts of new/aspiring coaches are opened.
VIP Coaching Retreats
Best for:
Individuals or couples facing big decisions or major transitions: couples deciding whether to parent or anticipating a new baby, empty nesters, people contemplating career changes or retirement, or committing to new habits and goals, or anyone else who wants deep, focused support.
VIP Coaching Retreats offer focused, one-on-one (or two-on-one), in-person time for deep insight, contemplating, and decision-making. These retreats are designed for people who crave space away from daily work and family demands to think clearly, get in touch with their values, make major choices, and create a plan for meaningful change.
What Happens on Retreats
Retreats are personalized, intentional, and designed to support lasting momentum — not just a temporary reset. They are crafted with your specific needs and preferences in mind, and in addition to intensive coaching sessions, can include time for journaling and reflection, rest, mindful time in nature, and restorative activities.
Depending on the season and your interests, activities can include forest bathing (intentional, mindful time outdoors), hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, biking, stand-up-paddleboarding, soaking in a private hot tub under the stars, all in gorgeous Summit County, Colorado.
The retreat experience is private, bespoke, and designed to support lasting clarity and follow-through long after you return home.
